Getting Started
What made you join Daily-Ads?
I joined Daily-Ads because I was finding that other types of advertising were not working as well as they once used to. Solo ads have become more expensive and don't convert the way they used. Part of that's down to email marketing not working quite as well as in the past due to the rules introduced by Google and Yahoo. Getting in the Inbox these days is harder too. I wanted a solution that would put my ads directly in front of people who would be interested in what I have to offer. Daily-Ads fit the bill, especially given the different advertising formats it offers.
What were you looking for?
I'm primarily looking for leads to add to my email list(s). I mentioned above that email marketing is not a effective as it once was but that doesn't mean it's ineffective! It's still the best long-term way of reaching current and prospective customers (your subscribers). Your email list is a business asset you own. Everywhere else (socials), you're just renting a list that can disappear overnight if your account gets closed.
First impression
Nice, clean interface with a modern design aesthetic. Different sections of the site are easy to navigate to and are not interrupted by interstitial ads. Ads are where they should be. I also like that different ad formats are available to members so there are multiple ways to promote your offers.
Experience & Results
What do you enjoy most?
The ease with which I can re-post ads and change out ads as offers come and go. I also appreciate that the interface is not cluttered and is easy to navigate.
Most used feature
Banner Ads, Daily-Swipes, Daily-Cast
Results seen so far
Yes, I've received signups to my primary offer. Those signups also get added to my email list so I can promote other offers to them in the future. I haven't made any direct sales as my focus is on getting leads rather than promoting products directly.
What makes Daily-Ads different?
It's clean interface. There are other platforms that I could mention where you can't do anything without an ad being shoved in your face. It's tiring as a user and reeks of desperation where the platform is concerned. It's like they want to squeeze every cent out of its users at the cost of everything else. Simple and clean beats busy and cluttered every time.
What They're Promoting
Currently advertising
I promote two offers at the moment - one for my AI Commissions Lab Skool Group which teaches how to build a sustainable online business by leveraging the power of AI and a proven system. I also promote GotBackup - the cloud-based backup service. I learned the importance of keeping backups after a hard drive crash and the total loss of a software project that took one year to build. I had a local backup on a second drive but it crashed at the same time!
Ideal audience
People looking to escape the 9-5 grind; people looking for a solution to living paycheck to paycheck; retirees looking to generate extra income to make life easier.
Results hoping to achieve
The way things are going in the world right now, with prices for everything rising, it's becoming harder and harder for people to make ends meet. I'd like to think I'm offering a solution to that, a way that could lead to financial independence over time.
Personal Side
Hobbies & interests
I'm a big movie buff, especially for sci-fi and action movies though I do like a good thriller too. I'm also an amateur astronomer. In fact, I started out online selling my astronomy software back in the late 90s. I still sell an app about the moon called LunarPhase Pro. I used to be a big Trekker (as we were called back in the 90s) though I've been very unimpressed with Trek since the 2009 movie. Cats are another interest. I've had at least one going back 30 years.
Fun fact
I underwent pre-selection training to become an astronaut for the European Space Agency.
Advice & Encouragement
Advice for upgrading to Silver
Given the extra advertising features and number of ads you can promote, upgrading is a smart move to make, especially if you're serious about putting your offers out there.
Tips for new members
Whichever level you sign up for, get your ads online immediately. You can always change them later. Anything else is just wasted time and opportunity. Get your Daily-Hub set up but don't fill it with links - that will just confuse visitors about what you're really promoting. Then get your Daily-Builder set up. Join as many of the programs as you can so that you can earn commissions from them when people join under you. Make sure you post at least one Daily-Swipe per day and one Daily-Cast per day (if you have that option). Being consistent, day-in, day-out, is the key to success, not promoting offer after offer in the hopes that one will "hit". Look at collecting leads and building an email list rather than selling products directly to members.
Long-term goal
To build up a retirement fund so that I never have to worry about those unexpected emergency expenses that seem to pop up at the most inappropriate time. I also want to live a comfortable, independent life into old age. I want a business that's as automated as possible so I have time freedom as well as financial freedom. And I want to help others to get those freedoms too. I have a goal of building a cat rescue centre at some point. Being rich to me means having good friends, not material goods.
